We provide individualised support to University and College students who have specific learning difficulties including Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorders (and other Specific Learning Difficulties), and Mental Health difficulties.

We are committed to ensuring all students with disabilities receive reliable, expert, and flexible support throughout their educational journey, as well as being available after graduation, in their work and beyond.

We will create a highly tailored package of support that is just right for you. If we have been allocated as your provider or you wish to change your support to us please complete our referral form.

Specialist Study Skills Support (NMH)

Our students find our support invaluable as we are able to develop specific strategies and guidance to enable students to reach their potential and graduate successfully.

Support will include:

  • Essay planning and writing skills
  • Research techniques, referencing skills and critical thinking
  • Time management and task prioritisation
  • Exam and revision strategies
  • Dissertation and research project management

Electronic Tuition

We are highly skilled in providing computer-based tuition to students based at a number of higher education establishments including: Newcastle University, Bangor University, Durham University, Northumberland University, and University College London. Please contact us if you are having trouble accessing face to face tuition at your education provider, as we can offer a highly flexible electronic tuition package.

Specialist Mentors (Mental health and AS)

A Specialist Mentor is like having a highly skilled extra pair of eyes that help you keep on track with your studies, and enable you to become a successful student. They will work with you to help you recognise the barriers to learning created by your impairment and support you in developing strategies to address these barriers.

Support will include:

  • Time management, prioritising workload
  • Dealing with anxiety and stressful situations
  • Enabling the ability to deal with concentration difficulties
  • Helping alleviate procrastination
  • Creating a suitable work-life balance
